  • Liz: “Oh my God, like we really have time for you to walk down the stairs that slowly! Time’s up! Tracy, it costs the show a lot of money when you pull these shenanigans.”
  • Tracy: “Don’t patronize me with your Celtic slang, Liz Lemon. We have a black president now."

I just thought to myself, “I’m going to haul off and get a Diet Coke.”  What?  Who says “haul off” to themselves?

It must be the Midwest in me.

Lady Gaga - Poker Face (Acoustic)

I’ve been listening to the acoustic version of this song on YouTube for months and finally decided that I needed the MP3.  Listening to this makes me not feel shameful about loving Lady Gaga.  (Listen for the heartfelt “YEAH!” at 2:15.)

The 3/50 Project
This has always been a pretty radical idea - buy local!  Don’t forget your local record store!

(via bryanboova:scottfriday:danielholter:soupsoup:jessiefuller:nom-nom-nom)

I’ve been doing this lately.  I was recently thinking about the economy and how sad I’d be if my favorite independent coffeeshops were forced to close.  Rather than always making coffee for myself, I’ve been going out a couple of times a week to buy one from my favorite places as a way of helping out and contributing in hopes that people still find it useful to work or talk or relax in a nice, creative, welcoming environment.  I highly recommend it to others who can spare an extra $5-$7 per week.
