Last night Katie goth’d us up and I ended up looking like a very sinister pilgrim.
I watched it, and though I didn’t think I could despise this girl more, I do. She is disgusting. Can interviewers stop asking her questions and staging photoshoots and turn her in already? This is getting ridiculous.
Also, “Seacrest out”!? I hate her.
May is my favorite month because it marks the beginning of summer and it is also the month of my birthday, May 17th.

This is the first of many. Amanda, please don’t hate on me.
This has always been a pretty radical idea - buy local! Don’t forget your local record store!

I’ve been doing this lately. I was recently thinking about the economy and how sad I’d be if my favorite independent coffeeshops were forced to close. Rather than always making coffee for myself, I’ve been going out a couple of times a week to buy one from my favorite places as a way of helping out and contributing in hopes that people still find it useful to work or talk or relax in a nice, creative, welcoming environment. I highly recommend it to others who can spare an extra $5-$7 per week.
Last night Morgan, Katie, Shannon and I went to the SVA open studios for sculpture and wanted to get Mr. Softee afterward so we walked up several blocks to the place where it’s normally parked around 22nd street. We realized it wasn’t there so we kept walking. We got to about 26th street and in the distance we saw a Mr. Softee truck. We walked excitedly toward it and when we reached the corner, happy and hungry for a Red Merlin, the truck skidded away and barreled away from us down the street. We stood there in shock with our arms at our sides and watched it drive out of sight.
