I blame my fatigue on not being able to have coffee for several days.  This is horrible.

For the Seams series, Shin took a shirt or a dress and cut away the fabric to leave behind a continuous linear band around the stitch. The remaining seam structures create an abstract drawing in space while referencing the body’s skeletal structure, proportion, gravity and gesture.

What's wrong with this picture?

Give up? We’re all for OUT celebrating allies and all, but Katy Perry?! COME ON! I think Gawker said it best: Why is this tittering dykesploitationist worthy of gay hero status?

Seriously. Would it be so horrible to put an actual lesbian on the cover (hint, hint: Rachel Maddow)? Are we supposed to be happy that at least a woman made the cover at all? Well, we’re not. But also, are we really that surprised?

Blech. Katy Perry is a total ween.
