When I see a blog with comments enabled, it turns me off. I’m like, “This person thinks anonymous opinions of strangers have value. Probably not worth reading their stuff.”
(yes, there are exceptions — shut up)
Me: Does anyone know of any good French movies with Audrey Tautou other than Amélie?
Commenter: You should try She loves me, She loves me not.
(This might be helpful to me. Anonymous opinions are irrelevant in any case.
And if I weren’t me, I would read my blog. Comments don’t make it less interesting.)
