I finally saw The Dark Knight on IMAX tonight.  And while I’d love to talk about it, I don’t know that I can.  I’m not really sure how to at this point but perhaps I will soon.  Though it’s not a movie with an especially sad ending, I left the theatre with such an intensely empty yet heart-wrenching feeling.  There was only one actor who performed like a true master of his craft, the others were simply good at best.  But like I said, I don’t know how to talk about this movie yet, other than that I give it more weight than anything I’ve seen in a very, very long time.  Some things and their circumstances affect you more than others, I suppose.  If I were to give a word to the experience before, during, and after seeing this movie, it would be “chilling.”
